Learn how to prepare for the UCAT exam with doctors

🗝 We will teach you online how to approach each section of the UCAT exam using tried and tested evidence-based methods. This is much better than learning from a book!

👨‍⚕️ We include over 5 hours of video tutorials, taught by Dr. Abdul Mannan, fully qualified medical school undergraduate tutor.

📚 We will teach you the question types that come up year after year in each section, as well as anything new that the examiners have added.

👉 Situational judgement is fully updated with the latest GMC Good Medical Practice guidelines.

🔬 We show you how to recognise each question type and how to approach it. We will go through examples questions to illustrate this.

Answer UCAT questions more quickly and accurately

⚔️ The UCAT consortium website is getting better, with a great bank of questions and some tutorials, but a great chunk of knowledge that you need is missed out, perhaps deliberately.

🧬 We will teach you how to look for patterns and trends – there is only so much they can test you on. We will teach you frameworks and mnemonics to help you remember.

⚙️ All our course materials and tutorials are developed in house (so you will not find them anywhere else) and tested on top local grammar school students to ensure they are of the highest standards.

⏱ You will be able to answer more quickly and more accurately and as this is a time pressured exam, this will give you the edge.

Learn the Pitfalls of the UCAT exam

🪤 This is one of the exams where they will try and trip you up. Not surprisingly the UCAT consortium won’t tell you how or where they do this 😡

👁 We will show you how to recognise traps and pitfalls in each section of the exam, so you don’t deliberately get led down a tangent and lose marks.

⛓ This is more difficult to learn from a book. We teach you using video tutorials and show you examples of how you can make mistakes.

🩺 Medical schools will not help you at all with the UCAT exam – it’s not really their domain. The skills needed to approach the UCAT are not commonly taught in schools and A-level revision in Chemistry and Biology won’t help much.

👁 We will give you guidance on choosing question banks. You cannot rely on one - we advise you choose three.

Who will be teaching me on the Online UCAT courses?

  • When comparing us with other providers that have Online UCAT courses, ask who will be teaching me? Poor unqualified tutors means poor student results.

  • Will the UCAT Online course be taught by qualified teachers? Attending an ‘intensive’ training session does not make you a qualified teacher.

  • Ask if they have any links to medical schools or teach Online UCAT courses, BMAT and interview skills to A-level students at sixth form schools?

  • Many will have ‘business awards’ that are nothing to do with UCAT courses - they are no use to you as a student.

  • Our ‘awards’ are our qualifications in education at Masters level and our membership of Royal Colleges that represent training and development of doctors.

  • Other providers may have (paid) affiliations to organisations that don’t have anything to do with quality of training.

  • Ask to see the experience in designing and teaching Online UCAT courses of your tutor - ask about teaching experience and student feedback. You will find no one beats us.
